The Nuffield Foundation is an independent charitable trust with a mission to advance social well-being. It funds research that informs social policy, primarily in Education, Welfare, and Justice. It also funds student programmes that provide opportunities for young people to develop skills in quantitative and scientific methods. The Digital Strategy for Wales describes how we will use digital, data and technology to improve the lives of people in Wales. It is for anyone creating, designing, providing or using digital tools and services. The strategy identifies a series of priorities under 6 missions; digital services; digital inclusion; digital skills; digital economy; digital connectivity and data and collaboration. The missions support the whole public sector to work together to: improve public services, develop the economy and reduce inequalities. Mission Two, digital inclusion, states we will Equip people with the motivation, access, skills and confidence to engage with an increasingly digital world, based on their needs.
